Connect Zendesk

Agents search and read tickets, users and attachments on your Zendesk instance; connects by entering your subdomain and signing in to Zendesk.

ZendeskSign inSupport

Search and read tickets, users and attachments on your instance.

Once Zendesk is connected, an agent can search tickets with Zendesk query syntax, read a ticket with its comments and attachments, look up a requester, and on request add a comment or change a status.

Before you start

  • A Zendesk Support account on the instance you want to connect. You sign in as yourself, so the agent sees what your Zendesk role allows. An agent or admin seat works.
  • Your Zendesk subdomain: the first part of your Zendesk address. For acme.zendesk.com it is acme. With a custom domain, use the address you sign in to the agent workspace with.
  • The Zendesk MCP server is new and may not be switched on for every account or plan yet. If sign-in reports it unavailable, ask your Zendesk admin.
  • You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace. Only owners and admins can connect integrations.

Connect it

  1. In woble open Marketplace, go to the Integrations tab, find Zendesk and press Connect.
  2. Type your subdomain into Zendesk subdomain. Just the word, without .zendesk.com or https.
  3. Press Continue with Zendesk. A new tab opens at your Zendesk instance.
  4. Sign in if needed. Zendesk shows a consent page asking for read and write access on your behalf. Press Allow.
  5. The tab closes. The card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the new Zendesk tools.

Or ask an agent

Type @ruby connect Zendesk in any chat. The same card, with the subdomain field, appears in the conversation. Only owners and admins can complete it.

Try it

  • "@atlas search Zendesk for status:open requester:jane@acme.com and summarise the tickets."
  • "@atlas open Zendesk ticket 4821, list the attachments and tell me what the customer is asking for."

Comments and status changes are customer-visible unless internal, so agents confirm before writing.

If it does not connect

  • Page not found after pressing Continue: the subdomain is wrong. Remove and reconnect with the right one.
  • Wrong account: if the browser is logged in to another Zendesk instance, sign out there and connect again.
  • Consent page never appears or errors: the MCP server may not be enabled for your account. Ask your Zendesk admin.
  • Press Test connection in Marketplace, Connected tab, to check the connection. Remove and reconnect fixes most token problems.

Disconnect

Marketplace, Connected tab, Remove. The tokens are deleted and agents lose the Zendesk tools immediately.
