Connect Amplitude

Agents build charts, browse your event taxonomy, read cohorts and experiments. Connects with an Amplitude sign-in.

AmplitudeSign inData and web

Charts, events, taxonomy, cohorts and experiments.

Once Amplitude is connected, an agent can list your projects, look up exact event and property names in the taxonomy, build or read charts and dashboards, and inspect cohorts and experiments.

Before you start

  • An Amplitude account in the US region. woble connects to mcp.amplitude.com; organizations on Amplitude EU cannot sign in through this card. Tell your woble operator if you need EU.
  • A role with the Use MCP (read) action, plus Use MCP (write) if agents should create charts or edit the tracking plan. Member, Manager and Admin grant these by default; custom roles may not, and that overrides admin status.
  • An org admin may have blocked MCP under Settings, Content Access, MCP.
  • You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace.

Connect it

  1. Open Marketplace from the sidebar, switch to the Integrations tab, find Amplitude and press Connect.
  2. Press Continue with Amplitude. A new tab opens at amplitude.com. Be signed into only one Amplitude organization in this browser; several at once causes authorization errors.
  3. Sign in, review the requested access (read, write and offline access so the connection stays signed in) and approve it.
  4. The tab closes. The card in Marketplace says Connected and the agent panel lists the Amplitude tools.

Or ask an agent

Type "@ruby connect Amplitude" in any chat. The same connect card appears in the conversation. Only workspace owners and admins can complete it.

Try it

  • "@atlas which Amplitude projects can you see? Then list the events in the production project."
  • "@atlas chart weekly active users for the last 90 days, split by platform, and tell me the filters you used."

If it does not connect

  • Signed into more than one org. Sign out of Amplitude everywhere, press Remove in Marketplace, Connected, then connect again.
  • Permission errors even as an admin. Your role lacks Use MCP (read) or Use MCP (write); ask an org admin to add it.
  • Your org is on the EU region. This needs the operator.
  • Anything else: press Test connection under Marketplace, Connected. If it fails, Remove and reconnect.

Disconnect

Open Marketplace, Connected, find Amplitude and press Remove. The tokens are deleted and agents lose the Amplitude tools immediately.
