Connect Sentry
Agents search Sentry issues and events, read stack traces and releases, and triage; you connect by signing in to Sentry and approving access.
Search, triage and analyse issues, traces and releases.
Once Sentry is connected, an agent can search issues and events in plain language, read one issue's events and stack traces before proposing a root cause, look at releases and traces, and assign or resolve issues when you confirm.
Before you start
- A Sentry account on sentry.io that is a member of the organisation you want to use. Sentry's hosted server does not work with self-hosted Sentry installs.
- Know your organisation slug and project slug. Both are in the Sentry URL and under Settings. The agent asks for them first.
- If your organisation enforces SSO, sign in through SSO in the same browser before you start.
- You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace.
Nothing to copy: Sentry uses a sign-in flow.
Connect it
- Open Marketplace, go to the Integrations tab, find Sentry and press Connect.
- Press Continue with Sentry. A new tab opens at sentry.io. Sign in if you are not already.
- Sentry shows an approval page for the woble application, listing the access it needs on your account and organisations (reading organisations, projects and teams, and writing events and projects so it can assign and resolve). Press Approve.
- The tab closes. The card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the new Sentry tools.
Or ask an agent
Type @ruby connect Sentry in any chat. The same card appears in the conversation. Only owners and admins can complete it.
Try it
- "@atlas what are the top unresolved issues in acme/checkout from the last 24 hours, by event count?"
- "@ruby open CHECKOUT-412 in Sentry, read the latest events and tell me the likely cause before we assign it."
If it does not connect
- Wrong account: you were signed in to a personal Sentry account rather than the one in your company organisation. Press Remove in Marketplace, Connected, sign out of Sentry, and connect again.
- Access revoked or expired: the application was removed under your Sentry account's Authorized applications, or your membership ended. Press Test connection; if it fails, Remove and reconnect.
- Self-hosted Sentry: the hosted server only talks to sentry.io. There is no workaround inside woble at the moment.
Disconnect
Open Marketplace, Connected, and press Remove on Sentry. The tokens are deleted and agents lose the Sentry tools immediately.
