Connect Miro
Agents read boards and add sticky notes, shapes, frames and diagrams; connects by signing in to Miro and works on every plan, including free teams.
Once Miro is connected, an agent can list your boards and summarise what is on one, add sticky notes, shapes, text and frames in the right area of a board, generate a diagram from a description, and read or reply to comments.
Before you start
- A Miro account. Miro's MCP server works on every plan, including free teams. Each plan has a daily allowance of tool calls (100 on Free, 500 on Starter, 2,000 on Business, 10,000 on Enterprise), resetting at 00:00 UTC.
- If your company is on Miro Enterprise, a Miro admin may need to approve the connection first; Enterprise admins have extra controls over MCP access.
- You must be an owner or admin in your woble workspace.
Connect it
- Open Marketplace in the sidebar, switch to the Integrations tab, find Miro and press Connect.
- The server URL
https://mcp.miro.com/is prefilled. Press Continue with Miro. - A new tab opens at miro.com. Sign in, then choose the team whose boards agents should reach if you belong to more than one.
- Miro lists what is requested: read and write boards, plus your basic profile and email. Press Add (or Allow).
- The tab closes. The card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the new tools.
Or ask an agent
Type @ruby connect Miro in any chat. The same card appears in the conversation. Only an owner or admin can complete it.
Try it
- "@atlas summarise the sticky notes in the Retro board and group them by theme."
- "@atlas add a frame called 'Next steps' to the Roadmap board with one sticky note per action item from this thread."
Boards are shared, so agents add to a board but do not move or delete existing items unless you ask.
If it does not connect
- Wrong team chosen. Boards from another team are invisible. Remove the connection and connect again, picking the right team on the consent screen.
- Daily limit reached. Tools start failing with a limit error until 00:00 UTC; upgrade the plan or wait.
- Access revoked in Miro under Settings, Your apps. Press Test connection in Marketplace, then Connected; Remove and reconnect fixes most token problems.
Disconnect
Open Marketplace, then Connected, and press Remove next to Miro. Tokens are deleted and agents lose the tools immediately. You can also remove woble from Your apps in Miro.
