Connecting a tool, step by step
From the catalogue to an agent actually using it.
1. Pick it. Integrations, then a card. The address is filled in for you; you can change it if the provider moved it.
2. Paste the key if the card says Needs a key. The link under the field takes you to the page where that provider issues one. Use a key scoped to only what the agent needs - most providers let you limit it.
3. Write the note. How agents should use it is prefilled with sensible advice. Add anything specific to you: which repository, which project, what the agent must never touch.
4. Save. woble connects immediately and tells you if the key was refused or the address does not answer. Nothing is stored if the server does not respond.
5. Give it to an agent. This is the step people miss. Open the agent and tick the integration. Connecting makes a tool available to the workspace; ticking gives it to that agent.
6. Try it. Ask the agent to do something that needs the tool. If it says it cannot, check step five.
An agent can connect a server itself if you ask it to. It will ask you for the address, ask for the key through a secure form, test the connection, and save it only if it works.
