Connect Plain
Agents look up threads and customers, triage with labels and notes, and reply in your Plain inbox; connects by signing in to Plain.
PlainSign inSupport
Threads, customers, labels and replies in your support inbox.
Once Plain is connected, an agent can find a customer and their threads, add labels and internal notes to triage, snooze or assign threads, and draft or send replies when you ask.
Before you start
- A Plain account with a seat in the workspace you want to connect. Actions run as the teammate who signs in, with that person's role. If you cannot reply or edit Help Center articles, neither can the agent.
- Check you can log in at app.plain.com with that account; the connection uses the same sign-in.
- You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace. Only owners and admins can connect integrations.
Connect it
- In woble open Marketplace, go to the Integrations tab, find Plain and press Connect.
- Press Continue with Plain. A new tab opens at Plain.
- Sign in if you are not already, then pick the workspace you want to connect when Plain asks.
- Plain asks you to allow the connection (sign-in and offline access, so it stays valid after you close the tab). Press Allow.
- The tab closes. The card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the new Plain tools: threads, customers, tenants, Help Center and workspace lookups.
Or ask an agent
Type @ruby connect Plain in any chat. The same card appears in the conversation. Only owners and admins can complete it.
Try it
- "@atlas what open Plain threads do we have from customers at acme.com? Give me a one-line summary of each."
- "@atlas find the Plain thread from jane@acme.com about the invoice, label it Billing and add a note that finance is looking into it."
If it does not connect
- Sign-in fails: check you can log in at app.plain.com with the same account, then try again.
- 403 right after you allow: the token came back without the expected scopes. Remove and connect again from scratch.
- Wrong workspace: agents see the workspace you picked at sign-in. Remove and reconnect to choose another.
- Permission errors in use: the agent has exactly your Plain role. Ask a Plain admin to adjust it.
- Press Test connection in Marketplace, Connected tab, to check the connection. Remove and reconnect fixes most token problems.
Disconnect
Marketplace, Connected tab, Remove. The tokens are deleted and agents lose the Plain tools immediately.
