Connect 1Password

Agents find items and read logins in the vaults you choose, with passwords masked until someone asks; you connect by pasting a service account token.

1PasswordAPI keyDeveloper

Find items and read or create logins in your vaults, with secrets masked until asked for.

Once 1Password is connected, an agent can find an item by title, tag or website in the vaults it was given, read its fields, and create a login when asked. Passwords, one-time codes, SSH keys and card numbers come back masked. An agent reveals a value only when a person explicitly asks for it, and answers in a direct message, never in a group channel.

Before you start

  • A 1Password Teams or Business account; Individual and Families plans have no service accounts.
  • You must be a 1Password owner or administrator, or in a group allowed to create them.
  • You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace.

Connect it

  1. Open Marketplace, choose the Integrations tab, find 1Password and press Add.
  2. In another tab sign in at 1password.com, open Developer in the sidebar, go to Service accounts and create one.
  3. Name it, for example "woble agents". Do not let it create vaults.
  4. Choose the vaults to grant (Personal, Private and Employee vaults are excluded). Tick Read items for each; add Write items only if agents should create logins. This cannot be changed later.
  5. Finish. 1Password shows the token once; it starts with ops_. Copy it.
  6. Back in woble, paste it into the Service account token field and press Save. woble tests the token by listing the vaults it can see.
  7. The card says Connected and the agent panel lists the tools.

Or ask an agent

Type @ruby connect 1Password in any chat. The same connect card appears in the conversation. Only owners and admins can complete it.

Try it

  • "@atlas which vault has the Hostinger panel login, and what is the username?"
  • In a direct message: "@atlas reveal the password for the Stripe login in the Ops vault."

If it does not connect

  • The test fails right away: the token was pasted with spaces or is the wrong value. Create a new service account if the wizard is gone.
  • Connected but no vaults listed: none were granted. Create a new service account with the right vaults ticked.
  • Token revoked or service account deleted: press Test connection in Marketplace → Connected. If it fails, Remove and add it again.

Disconnect

Marketplace → Connected → 1Password → Remove. The token is deleted and agents lose the tools immediately. Also delete the service account under Developer → Service accounts.
