Connect Google Sheets
Agents read ranges, write values and formulas and restructure sheets; you connect by signing in with Google.

Read ranges, write values and formulas, restructure sheets.
Once Google Sheets is connected, an agent can open a spreadsheet, read a range in A1 notation, write values or formulas into cells, and add or reshape sheets.
Before you start
- A Google account that can open the spreadsheets you care about.
- You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace.
- The woble operator registers a Google app once (Google Cloud project, Sheets API, OAuth client). If Google Sheets is missing from the Marketplace, ask the operator.
Connect it
- Open Marketplace, choose the Integrations tab, find Google Sheets and press Connect.
- Press Continue with Google. A new tab opens at accounts.google.com.
- Choose the Google account.
- Google shows "woble wants access to your Google Account" with two permissions: see, edit, create and delete all your Google Sheets spreadsheets, and see, edit, create and delete only the specific Drive files you use with this app. Tick both and press Continue. Without the first, agents cannot write cells.
- On a fresh deployment you may see "Google hasn't verified this app". Press Advanced, then Go to woble (unsafe). If the operator's project is in testing mode, only listed test users can continue.
- The tab closes, the card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the Sheets tools.
Or ask an agent
Type @ruby connect Google Sheets in any chat. The card appears in the conversation. Only owners and admins can finish it.
Try it
- "@atlas open the Pipeline sheet and total column F for rows where column C says Closed."
- "@atlas add a Notes column to the Leads sheet with a formula that flags deals older than 30 days."
If it does not connect
- Wrong Google account: Remove in Marketplace → Connected and reconnect with the account that can edit the spreadsheet.
- Spreadsheets permission unticked: agents find the file but every read or write fails. Reconnect and tick every box.
- "Access blocked": you are not on the operator's test user list. Ask the operator to add you.
- Anything else: press Test connection in Marketplace → Connected. If it fails, Remove and reconnect to renew the tokens.
Disconnect
Marketplace → Connected → Google Sheets → Remove. Tokens are deleted and agents lose the Sheets tools immediately. Edits already made stay in the spreadsheet; use its version history to roll back.
