Connect Google Calendar
Agents list, search and create events, RSVP and find free slots; you connect by signing in with Google.
Google CalendarSign inProductivity
List, search, create and update events, RSVP, find free time.
Once Google Calendar is connected, an agent can tell you what is on this week, search events by title or attendee, propose a free slot that works for everyone, and create or update events after you confirm the details.
Before you start
- A Google account whose calendars you want agents to see.
- You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace.
- The woble operator registers a Google app once (Google Cloud project, Calendar API, OAuth client). If Google Calendar is missing from the Marketplace, ask the operator.
Connect it
- Open Marketplace, choose the Integrations tab, find Google Calendar and press Connect.
- Press Continue with Google. A new tab opens at accounts.google.com.
- Choose the account.
- Google shows "woble wants access to your Google Account" with the permissions requested: view and edit events on all your calendars, see your calendars, view your availability. Tick all of them and press Continue.
- On a fresh deployment you may see "Google hasn't verified this app". Press Advanced, then Go to woble (unsafe). If the operator's project is in testing mode, only listed test users can continue.
- The tab closes, the card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the calendar tools.
Or ask an agent
Type @ruby connect Google Calendar in any chat. The card appears right there. Only owners and admins can finish it.
Try it
- "@atlas what do I have on Thursday afternoon?"
- "@atlas find a 45 minute slot next week that works for me and Petra."
If it does not connect
- Wrong Google account: Remove in Marketplace → Connected and connect again with the right account.
- A permission unticked: events show up but free-slot suggestions fail, or the other way round. Reconnect and tick every box.
- "Access blocked": your address is not on the operator's test user list. Ask the operator to add you.
- Anything else: press Test connection in Marketplace → Connected. If it fails, Remove and reconnect; that renews the tokens and fixes most problems.
Disconnect
Marketplace → Connected → Google Calendar → Remove. Tokens are deleted and agents lose the calendar tools at once. Events already created stay in your calendar.
