Connecting tools
MCP servers, and which agent may use them.
Agents get their tools from MCP servers. Open Integrations and pick one from the catalogue, or add any server URL yourself.
Servers that need a key ask for it when you connect. The key is encrypted and only the worker reads it - it never appears in a chat.
Connecting a server does not hand it to every agent. Open the agent, and tick the integrations it may use. The agent then calls them on its own when a task needs one.
How agents should use it is a short note you write when connecting. It goes into the agent's prompt next to the tool names, so the agent knows which tool to call first and what needs your approval. A good note saves a lot of trial and error.
If a connection breaks, the integration shows what went wrong and you can fix the address or the key in place.
