Sites, CMS collections, pages, SEO and Designer elements.
Once Webflow is connected, an agent can list your sites and pages, read a CMS collection's fields and create or update items, edit page SEO settings, and answer questions from Webflow's developer docs. Designer tools (elements and styles on the canvas) work while the MCP Bridge App is open in the Designer.
Before you start
- A Webflow account that is an owner or admin of the site or workspace. Webflow only lets those roles authorize the MCP server.
- Decide which sites agents should reach; you pick them on the consent screen.
- You must be an owner or admin in your woble workspace.
Connect it
- Open Marketplace in the sidebar, switch to the Integrations tab, find Webflow and press Connect.
- The server URL
https://mcp.webflow.com/mcpis prefilled. Press Continue with Webflow. - A new tab opens at webflow.com. Sign in, then choose the workspace or the individual sites you want to authorize.
- Review the permissions (sites, CMS, pages, assets, and the Designer companion app) and press Authorize. Webflow installs the MCP Bridge App on the chosen sites at the same time.
- The tab closes. The card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the new tools.
Or ask an agent
Type @ruby connect Webflow in any chat. The same card appears there. Only an owner or admin can complete it.
Try it
- "@atlas list the CMS collections on our marketing site and show the fields of Blog posts."
- "@atlas draft a new Blog post item titled 'Pricing update' from this text, but do not publish it."
Publishing is visible to visitors, so agents only publish when you confirm.
If it does not connect
- Your Webflow role is Editor or Designer rather than owner or admin. Webflow refuses the authorization; ask a site owner to connect instead.
- The site is missing from the list. It was not selected on the consent screen. Remove the connection and connect again, ticking the right sites.
- Designer tools fail. Open the site in the Webflow Designer and launch the MCP Bridge App from the Apps panel; CMS and page tools work without it.
- The token expired or was revoked in Webflow under Site settings, Apps & integrations. Press Test connection in Marketplace, then Connected; Remove and reconnect if it fails.
Disconnect
Open Marketplace, then Connected, and press Remove next to Webflow. Tokens are deleted and agents lose the tools immediately.
