Connect Shopify storefront
Agents search a Shopify store's catalog, build carts and read its policies from the shopper side; you connect by typing the store domain, no sign-in needed.
Search a store's catalog, build carts and read policies (shopper side).
Once a Shopify storefront is connected, an agent can search that store's catalog, read product details and variants, answer questions from the store's policies and FAQs, and build a cart that ends in a checkout link. This is the shopper-facing side of a store, so it works for your own store or any other Shopify store.
Before you start
- The public domain of the store, for example
your-store.myshopify.comor a custom domain such aswww.example.com. - No Shopify account or API key. Shopify's storefront server does not require authentication.
- Know what it cannot do: it has no access to orders, customers, inventory or admin settings.
- You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace.
Connect it
- Open Marketplace, switch to the Integrations tab, find Shopify storefront and press Add.
- Type the store's domain into the Store domain field, without
https://and without a path. woble callshttps://<domain>/api/mcp. - Press Connect. woble tests the endpoint; a working store responds with its tools.
- The card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the storefront tools (catalog search, product details, cart and policies).
You can add several stores; each is a separate connection.
Or ask an agent
Type @ruby connect Shopify storefront in any chat. The same card appears there with the domain field. Only owners and admins can complete it.
Try it
- "@atlas search the store for waterproof running shoes under 150 and list the sizes in stock."
- "@atlas add two of the blue medium to a cart and give me the checkout link. What is the return policy?"
Agents hand you the checkout URL rather than pretending to finish the purchase.
If it does not connect
- The domain is wrong or includes
https://or a trailing slash. Enter only the host name, and try the.myshopify.comaddress if the custom domain does not answer. - The store is not on Shopify, or it is password-protected or otherwise restricted. Shopify notes that some stores restrict access; check the domain in a browser first.
- Open Marketplace, Connected, and press Test connection. Remove and add the domain again if the store moved.
Disconnect
Open Marketplace, Connected, find the store and press Remove. Nothing is stored beyond the domain, and agents lose the storefront tools immediately.
