Connect Railway
Agents list Railway projects and services, redeploy, manage feature flags and debug with logs; connects by signing in to Railway.
Once Railway is connected, an agent can check who is signed in, list projects and their services, create a project, redeploy or accept a pending deploy, read and set feature flags, and hand multi-step debugging to Railway's own agent, which reads logs and status for you.
Before you start
- A Railway account and membership in the workspace you want agents to reach. The grant is per workspace member, so agents see only the workspaces you grant.
- You must be a workspace owner or admin in woble. Only owners and admins can connect integrations.
Connect it
- Open Marketplace, Integrations tab, find Railway and press Connect.
- Press Continue with Railway. A new tab opens at railway.com.
- Sign in to Railway. The request asks for your profile and email, workspace-member access and permission to keep the connection alive between sessions. If Railway shows a workspace picker, tick every workspace you want agents to work in.
- Press the button that authorizes access. The tab closes and the card says Connected. The agent panel lists the new tools: whoami, list-projects, create-project, list-services, the feature-flag tools, redeploy, accept-deploy and railway-agent.
Or ask an agent
Type "@ruby connect Railway" in any chat. The same card appears there. Only owners or admins can complete it.
Try it
- "@atlas list our Railway projects and tell me which services in api-prod are not healthy."
- "@atlas the checkout service on Railway is throwing 500s since this morning. Find out why."
Agents ask before deleting anything, changing a feature flag or redeploying.
If it does not connect
- A project or workspace is missing: it was not included in the grant. Press Test connection in Marketplace, Connected, then Remove and reconnect, this time granting that workspace. Agents will also suggest re-authorizing when whoami shows fewer workspaces than you expect.
- Calls fail with an authentication error: Railway's tokens are short-lived and can be revoked from your Railway account settings. Remove and reconnect.
- You signed in with a different Railway account than the one in the workspace: Remove, sign out of Railway in the browser, reconnect.
Disconnect
Marketplace, Connected, Remove. The tokens are deleted and agents lose the Railway tools immediately.
