Connect Bright Data

Once Bright Data is connected, an agent can run a web search and get clean results, pull a page as markdown even when the site blocks ordinary fetches, and collect data from several pages in one batch.

Before you start

• A Bright Data account. New accounts include 5,000 free requests a month on the hosted server, no card needed; above that, usage is billed to the account.
• Access to the account's settings, so you can see or create an API token.
• You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace to save the connection.

Connect it

1. Open Marketplace from the sidebar, switch to the Integrations tab, find Bright Data and press Add.
2. In a new tab, sign in to the Bright Data control panel. The link in the dialog opens the users page under account settings, where each user has an API token. Copy yours, or generate one if the field is empty.
3. Back in woble, paste it into the API token field and press Connect.
4. The card shows Connected and the agent panel lists the new tools, typically search_engine and scrape_as_markdown with their batch versions.

The hosted server runs in Bright Data's default rapid mode: search and scraping. Their pro tools for structured e-commerce and social data are not part of this connection.

Agents are told to prefer the cheapest tool and to say how many requests they used.

If it does not connect

• The token was copied with a trailing space, or from a different Bright Data account. Paste it again.
• The token was rotated or deleted in the control panel.
• The account is suspended or out of balance.

Press Test connection in Marketplace, Connected tab, to see the exact error. Remove followed by a fresh connection fixes most token problems.

Disconnect

Marketplace, Connected, Remove next to Bright Data. The token is deleted from woble and agents lose the tools immediately.
