Connect Airtable

Agents read, create and update records in the bases you grant, and inspect base schemas. Connects with an Airtable sign-in.

AirtableSign inData and web

Query, create and update records; inspect base schemas.

Once Airtable is connected, an agent can list your bases and read their schema, find and filter records, and create or update records in bulk, using the exact table and field names from the schema.

Before you start

  • An Airtable account on any plan. Airtable's MCP server is available to all plans.
  • Access to the bases you want agents to use. Your Airtable role carries over: Editors and Creators can write, Commenters and Read-only collaborators can only read.
  • On Airtable Enterprise, an admin may need to allowlist the MCP integration under Settings, Integrations & development.
  • You must be an owner or admin of the woble workspace. Only owners and admins can connect integrations.

Connect it

  1. Open Marketplace from the sidebar, switch to the Integrations tab, find Airtable and press Connect.
  2. Press Continue with Airtable. A new tab opens at airtable.com. Sign in if you are not already.
  3. On the authorization page, choose which bases and workspaces the connection may access. Only what you pick is visible to agents; you can add bases later from your Airtable integrations page.
  4. Review the permissions (read and write records, read schemas) and grant access.
  5. The tab closes. The card in Marketplace says Connected and the agent panel lists the new Airtable tools.

Or ask an agent

Type "@ruby connect Airtable" in any chat. The same connect card appears in the conversation. Only workspace owners and admins can complete it.

Try it

  • "@atlas list the bases we have in Airtable and describe the tables in the CRM base."
  • "@atlas in the Leads table, find every record with Status set to New this week and change it to Contacted."

If it does not connect

  • You granted the wrong bases. Open your Airtable account page, Integrations, Third-party integrations, add the missing bases, then reconnect in woble.
  • Writes fail while reads work. Your Airtable role on that base is Commenter or Read-only. Ask the base owner to change it.
  • Token revoked or expired. Press Test connection under Marketplace, Connected. If it fails, Remove and reconnect; this fixes most token problems.

Disconnect

Open Marketplace, Connected, find Airtable and press Remove. The tokens are deleted and agents lose the Airtable tools immediately.
