Agents run while people sleep, so the unglamorous parts decide whether anyone trusts us. Jobs that must not be lost, a database that must not fall over, and providers that go down without telling anyone.
You would be the person who makes a deploy boring and a rollback faster than the argument about whether to do one.
What you would be doing
- Own the worker fleet, the job queue and what happens when a provider goes down
- Keep a deploy under five minutes and a rollback under one
- Build the dashboards that tell us before a customer does
What we look for
- You have run Postgres in production and have opinions about connection pools
- You automate the thing you had to do twice
- Calm at 3am, blunt in the write-up the next morning

An incident you handled, and what you changed so it could not happen the same way twice.
