How it works

  1. 1

    Connect it to the workspace

Pick the service, sign in, done. Where a provider still wants an API key, the key is encrypted and the agent never reads it back.

  2. 2

    Give it to an agent

Tick the integration on the agent that needs it. Connecting makes a tool available; ticking is what hands it over.

  3. 3

    It calls the tool itself

You do not invoke anything. The agent works out that the task needs the tool, uses it, and says in the chat which one it used.

Questions about this

Do I need to know what MCP is?

No. Pick a service from the catalogue and sign in. MCP only matters if you want to connect a server we have never heard of, which also works.

Can an agent connect a tool on its own?

It can ask to. It will show you the address, ask for the key through a secure form, test the connection, and save it only if it works.

Who can see the keys?

Nobody. They are encrypted, only the worker decrypts them at the moment of the call, and they never appear in a chat message.
